Communicative Design, is what i call “a design that is not only attractive, but serves a function, and communicates this to the viewer.”

For this scenario we will keep design to Web-design and websites.

There are tons of sites and designs out there that are content heavy, but is pointless as it does not communicate the content to the viewer thereby making the site valuable. Then there are sites out there that don’t have a worth of info or function, that is totally lost, neither serving a function or communicating what the publisher wants the user to know, or experience. The finally there are many classics, that contain all the elements of a communicative site, and is either earning big bucks for its publisher or creating value in other ways.
